As the AC Milan project continues to grow along with its young core of players, the market values of the players within the squad is growing too.

Sky have published a report which documents the uncertainty surrounding Mike Maignan’s future and the crossroads that is arriving because of his difficult renewal, his dip in form and the numerous absences due to injury.

However, Maignan is one of those who has grown the most because the broadcaster claims that he has gone from being a €16.4m signing to being worth €40m in today’s market. Selling him could yield a large capital gain, but that applies to others too.

Malick Thiaw has gone from an €8.8m signing to a €30m defender, Theo Hernandez cost €22.8m and is now valued at €60m, Yacine Adli was signed for €8.7m and would now cost €15m, while Ismael Bennacer is now a €35m player having arrived for €17.2m.

Moving down the list, Rafael Leao is now worth €90m having cost €49.5m (when considering the transfer fee plus the fine money paid to Lille), Christian Pulisic is a €32m player having cost €20m, while Luka Jovic could fetch around €7m having joined on a free transfer last summer.
