Inter Milan are reportedly expecting their shirt sale revenues to significantly increase as part of the second star effect.

The Nerazzurri have recently achieved a historic feat by clinching their 20th league title. Simone Inzaghi’s men remarkably completed the job with a win over arch-rivals AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.

But in addition to the sporting achievement, the second star will also have a massive impact on the club’s finances.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInter1908, the management is anticipating soaring figures in terms of jersey sales.

As the source explains, the Nerazzurri have already registered positive figures this term. They sold 150,000 shirts only through their official stores, yielding 17.5 million euros.

Nevertheless, these figures are set to mount with the fans expected to flock to buy the club’s first-ever jersey with two golden stars sewn over the club’s crest.

The newspaper reveals that Inter estimates to sell 200,000 jerseys in the 2024/25 campaign. This would generate approximately 25 million euros.

Hence, these figures would constitute a major boost for the club’s finances.

New Inter Milan Shirt To Yield Significant Increase In Revenues

As usual, Inter and their kit manufacturer Nike have agreed to unveil the new jersey in the first friendly of next season.

Moreover, this shirt should also feature a new main sponsor. This is because the club’s agreement with Paramount+ will expire at the end of the season.

In recent months, Swedish betting giants Betsson have emerged as the favorites to strike an agreement with the Italian champions and replace the American streaming service.
